PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fax device where an approximate remaining time before end of communication is displayed. SOLUTION: A fax device is provided which transmits an original after it is recorded in a memory. Here, the information at call is recorded in the memory for each telephone number while a time required for other than transmission of an image information is recorded, for predicting a communication time required for communication at a next transmission.
