PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce total exposure dosage to a worker in a nuclear reactor well during a periodical inspection of a nuclear reactor. SOLUTION: This boiling water type nuclear power plant has the first pipe line for injecting water of a reactor vessel into the reactor well located in an upper side of the reactor vessel through a pump and a cooler, the second pipe line for injecting water of a spent fuel storage pool into the reactor well through a pump and a filtering desalter, and the third pipe line for injecting the water of the spent fuel storage pool into the spent fuel storage pool through the pump and the filtering desalter.
