PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create a natural raw material doubling as charcoal and a building material and manufacture and provide a healthy panel building material of utility value, capable of being easily used as the basic material (substrate material) for each structure of a building by taking the natural raw material as a constitutive raw material, because the charcoal cannot be directly used due to the absence of stiffness appropriate for the building material though the function capable of providing the anionic effect of the charcoal, indoor air cleaning, the action of humidification, etc., all the year round can be imparted to the basic materials for the respective structures of the building if the charcoal with excellent characteristics can be directly used as the building material. SOLUTION: Because lumber is best suited to the building material, attention is directed toward carbonized lumber capable of having the characteristics of the charcoal in spite of the lumber, and the carbonized lumber is taken as a constitutive raw material in order to enable the manufacture of the healthy panel building material capable of being easily used as the basic materials for the respective structure. The provision of a manufacturing method for the above panel allows the above purpose to the achieved. This technology of utilization and this use are epoch-making in the respect that new utilization values are found in the lumber such as the carbonized lumber, by extension, Japanese cedar wood.
