<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life support system using communication network suitable for fulfilling the defectiveness of a present system such as long-term care insurance or medical insurance. SOLUTION: In the life support system for providing health care support services to a member who desires a care service, medical service or independence training support service, this system is provided with respective superior life houses for providing preferable living environments such as provision of universal barrier-free living spaces and meals to the member with a life support center for controlling various life support services as a center, a dedicated communication means for reporting abnormality in the health of the member to a home doctor and communicating with each of hospitals for taking required procedures, a location confirming means for receiving an emergency call from portable communication terminal equipment for member capable of position detection and reporting position information to an emergency center and a Web reporting means for reporting the conditions of the member or the like from the life support center through the Internet to the family/relative of the member.</p> |
