<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contain displacement of a contact part within a given range for an electrical connector of a small size and compression type. SOLUTION: A housing 2 is provided with a slot 14 for housing an arm contact 3. The arm contact 3 in turn has a lead part 21 protruding from one end of the housing 2, press-fitting parts 23, 24 against the housing 3, bent parts 25, 27 for allowing displacement within the slot 14 and a contact part coming out of the slot 14 and protruding from the other end of the housing 2. A limiting part 15 is provided in the housing 2 for limiting displacement of the contact part 29 in the expanding direction within the slot 14, when the contact part 29 is pressure contacted against a conductive face 6a of a circuit board 6.</p> |
