PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an FPD which can be easily recycled even if a defect is generated during a film-producing process on a glass substrate, which, in turn, leads to cost reduction as well as reduction of industrial wastes and saving of energy. SOLUTION: The element is provided with a first substrate 10, a second substrate 20 opposing to the first substrate 10 through a plurality of partitions 40, discharge gas enclosed in a space 50 surrounded by the first substrate 10, the second substrate 20 and the partitions 40, and a plurality of electrodes 12, 22 for generating plasma discharge. Each of the plurality of the electrodes 12, 22 has an Ag alloy electrode layer 14 or 22 including an Ag alloy containing Ag, Pd and Cu.
