PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circulation type grain dryer which can dry grains containing moisture as low as about <=18% in time equivalent to that spent in the conventional drier by preventing the quality deterioration of the grains caused by cracking at the time of redrying the grains. SOLUTION: As the detected value of a moisture detecting section 18 becomes lower, a control section 22 controls the operation of the exhaust valve of the circulation type grain dryer to increase the circulating speed of the grains so that the mean drying of the grains ma become an arbitrary prescribed value. At the same time, the control section 22 controls a hot air generating section 14 to lower the temperature of hot air supplied to a drying section 8.
