PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of reducing its cost. SOLUTION: This solenoid valve has a core 2 furnished with a yoke 21 to install a coil 6 and on which a first port 23 is formed, a base 3 connected to the core 2 and on which a second port 32 is formed, a plunger 4 arranged free to slide relative to the yoke 21 and free to slide and move in the axial direction by a magnetic flux working as the coil 6 is magnetized and a valve element 5 fastened on the plunger 4 pierced through the plunger 4 so that one end faces the second port 32 and the other end faces the first port 23, to open and close the second port 32 by the one end by sliding motion of the plunger 4 and to open and close the first port 32 by the other end.
