PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous adhesive composition which can improve the coating efficiency without flying about in mist in the neighborhood while maintaining the working atmosphere in a good condition when sprayed with the use of a spray gun. SOLUTION: The aqueous adhesive composition is prepared by adding a polyethylene oxide, a poly-N-vinylacetamide or acrylic acid to a chloroprene latex.
