PURPOSE: A bush is provided to facilitate the fitting work of the bush while satisfying the spring characteristic by installing a ring member at an inner portion of a protrusion for improving the spring characteristic. CONSTITUTION: A bush(16) is inserted into a space formed between an inner pipe(12) and an outer pipe(14) in order to transfer the force or absorb the vibration. Protrusions(18,20) are provided at both ends of the bush(16) so as to maintain the required spring characteristic. A ring(22) is inserted into the protrusions(20) which is positioned in a fitting direction of the bush(16). The ring(22) is made of an elastic material. The ring(22) has a smooth inclination in the fitting direction of the bush(16) and a steep inclination in a direction opposite to the fitting direction of the bush(16). Thus, one protrusion(20) has a height lower than a height of the other protrusion(18). When the bush(16) is press-fitted into the outer pipe(14), the ring(22) is elastically deformed towards the inner pipe(12). Then, the shape of the ring(22) is restored when the bush(16) has been fitted into the outer pipe(104).
