PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic reproducing element having the simple structure and the reproducing sensitivity superior than that of a conventional inductive type magnetic head or an MR head, and a magnetic reproducing device using this element. SOLUTION: This magnetic reproducing element is constituted of at least two conductive thin films and one metal soft magnetic thin film formed on one main surface of a substrate consisting of an insulator, and the metal soft magnetic thin film is adhesively formed so as to make the inclined angleαwith one main surface of the substrate between one side end surface of the 1st conductive thin film and one side end surface of the 2nd conductive thin film, then a signal is outputted in accordance with the change of impedance between two conductive thin films generated by the addition of the external magnetic field to the metal soft magnetic thin film.
