<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication equipment capable of retransmitting an electronic mail by reducing the date quantity of the electronic mail without imposing any labor when a transmission error due to the data quantity of the electronic mail is generated. SOLUTION: At the time of receiving an error notification mail with respect to a transmitted electronic mail to which a picture is attached, a digital copying machine 203 analyzes the error notification mail. At the time of detection corresponding error notification due to the capacity of the electronic mail from the analyzed result of the error notification mail, the digital copying machine 203 acquires a picture corresponding to the picture attached to the electronic mail to which the error notification mail is received with respect, reduces the capacity of the picture by reducing the resolution, and retransmits the electronic mail by attaching the picture whose capacity is reduced to the electronic mail.</p> |
