A method is provided in constructing an exterior perimeter of a building. A base construction (1) is provided with a plurality of vertical load bearing walls (2) at pre-determined locations on the perimeter of the building. The pre-determined locations are defined by being the entire perimeter region save for the regions where utility providing means (such as at least windows or doors or openings) are to be provided. Secured to the upper distal ends of the vertical load bearing walls (2) are lintels (3) to span across the utility providing regions (4). Within the regions where utility providing means are to be provided, the utility providing means will span the entire region vertically between the base construction and the lintel (3). The utility providing means are provided to also span the width of each of the regions to abut against the vertical load bearing walls on each side of each region. A vertical slot is provided within the region extending from the base construction to the lintel (3) where the utility providing means is provided to span the entire vertical distance.
