PURPOSE: A noise reduction apparatus of a turbocharger for a vehicle is provided to reduce noise by modifying an air inlet of a compressor cover connected to an air cleaner, and to improve endurance by operating accurately and replacing and maintaining conveniently. CONSTITUTION: A noise reduction apparatus of a turbocharger is composed of an air inlet pipe(32) connected to an air cleaner, and protruded in a compressor cover(36); and a noise reduction ring(34) inserted to the air inlet pipe and combined by a bolt(40). The noise reduction ring has a pipe part(44) inserted to the air inlet pipe and combined with the bolt, a fitting sill part(46) restricting the insertion of the pipe part, and a protrusion(50) reversing the noise passage. Air is moved to the engine through the air cleaner with turning a turbine and a compressor wheel(52) in driving the turbo charger. The noise transmission passage is reversed to a space part(58) with an inclined surface(48) and the protrusion of the noise reduction ring. Noise is reduced with flowing air actively by preventing noise from the space part to the air inlet pipe.
