PURPOSE: A system and a method for language learning using pronunciation correction are provided to suggest a comparison result and pronunciation correction method to a user by comparing and analyzing the pronunciation of user and native speaker on the basis of pronunciation characteristic parameter. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an output device(100) to provide a learning target sentence and pronunciation of native speaker to a user according to the user's selection, an input device(101) transmitting the pronunciation of user received from the output device to a pretreatment device, a database(102) storing the learning target sentence and relating pronunciation of native speaker, a pretreatment device(103) detecting a start and end point by a sentence unit from the inputted voice, transmitting the detected sentence and the native speaker's pronunciation corresponding to the inputted sentence to a voice characteristic parameter extracting device, and the voice characteristic parameter extracting device(104) to extract the characteristic parameter from the divided pronunciation of user and the pronunciation of native speaker, and comparing analysis device to provide the result to the user by comparing and analyzing the characteristic parameter of both pronunciation.
