METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOTELY VIEWING RADIOLOGICAL IMAGES

The radiologist analyzes radiographic images using a portable, body-mounted viewing unit, which may include retinal impingement head-mounted display. The viewing unit is coupled to a computer network for downloading image data from the clinic or hospital where the images were taken. The viewing unit thus eliminates the need for the radiologist to schedule time in a radiological reading room and empowers the radiologist to work anywhere.
