<p>The invention relates to an inside panel for a vehicle door, comprising an integrated side impact support, and to the production of said panel. The door inside panel is moulded by deep-drawing from a sheet bar, especially a tailored blank, and consists of a shell (4) whose bottom (4a) is covered by the side impact support (5) on the inside of the shell (4). Said side impact support (5) consists of a sheet strip (2) cut freely, laterally from the sheet bar, this sheet strip having remained connected to the inside panel of the door as a single piece even after forming.</p> |
