The golf bag consists of a cylindrical section(2) equipped with a strap system(8) and which on one side is detachably connected by several stabilizing longitudinal members to a wheel mounted base(1) which can tip in the direction of travel, and on the other side to a top section(4) equipped with a withdrawable handle and support component. The golf bag by means of the strap system and together with the mobile base and support system, and by collapsible legs, can be carried over the shoulder or on the back and placed down in any position.
