PURPOSE: A structure for coupling valve of hermetic type rotary compressor is provided to minimize leakage of refrigerant gas in an inner space of a cylinder where the refrigerant gas is compressed. CONSTITUTION: A screw hole(7d) penetrates one of an upper bearing(7) and a lower bearing connected on an upper and a lower surfaces of a cylinder to seal an inner space of the cylinder. An internal screw hole is formed on one side of the cylinder facing the screw hole. A fixing bolt(14) is inserted into the screw hole of one of the bearings to fix a discharge valve(12) and a retainer(13) opening and closing a discharge hole(7a) formed on the bearings for gas compressed in the inner space of the cylinder to be discharged. An external screw part(14a) of the fixing bolt is coupled with the internal screw hole of the cylinder.
