PURPOSE: An over-stacking preventing device for a freight car is provided to prevent the generation of a warning signal or the impossibility of the car driving due to the misjudgment on the over-stacking. CONSTITUTION: An over-stacking preventing device for a freight car includes a power supply connection part(10) for supplying power only when the car is in a stable condition, an over-stacking sensing part(20) for generating an over-stacking signal when the current is supplied from the power supply connection part, and an electronic control unit(30) for carrying out the warning or car running control as the over-stacking signal is applied.
