The arrangement has a flyer (7) enveloping the spool former (10) and rotatably mounted on a pipe (2) via which the object (1) is fed to the flyer. The spool former is coupled to a bearer sleeve (18) arranged approximately in the direction of the longitudinal axis (A) of the pipe but maintaining a distance from it for feeding the object. The bearer sleeve is fixed with respect to the fixed pipe.
