PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for overlapped facility drawing management by using virtual line are provided to efficiently manage superposed facilities on the identical graphic position of a map by using a virtual facility record. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a facility table(210) for storing, sustaining, and managing the real facility record and a virtual facility table(200) for storing, sustaining, and managing the virtual facility record representing various records having identical coordinate values among the records of the facility table. The virtual facility table comprises a graphic coordinate field(220), a common attribute field(230), and a pointer group field(240). The facility table comprises a virtual facility pointer field(250) and an attribute field(260). A graphic coordinate is marked by such shapes as a line, a circle, an arc, a square, a poly-line, and a polygon on the position corresponding to the coordinate by reading the graphic coordinate field of the record of the virtual facility table. Thereafter, a portion of attribute value needed for respective facility records of a pointer group is displayed on a monitor after reading the pointer group field.
