A vehicle lift, as for wheelchairs, incorporates a first driving means to raise and lower a platform adapted to take a wheelchair in a vertical plane, and second driving means to move the platform into and out of the vehicle and restraining means to secure the wheelchair and occupant during the motion of the lift and subsequently during the motion of the vehicle. |
