<p>A cutter for insertion on a cutter head comprising: (a) a bearing assembly (1) comprising: (i) an external integral annular cone (4); (ii) a pair of opposed internal annular cups (2) located in and bearing upon the cone (4) whilst being coaxial therewith; and (iii) an annular spacer (3) located between the opposed cups (2) to maintain those cups in a predetermined location relative to the cone (4); (b) an annular hub (6) having a central recess into which the bearing assembly (1) is releasably inserted; (c) a central shaft (6) releasably and axially located within the bearing assembly (1); and (d) a cutter ring (9) releasably located on the external circumference of the hub (6).</p> |
