<p>An automatic cleaning and disinfecting device cleans and disinfects an object under programmed control. Each object to be cleaned and disinfected is provided with a data storage medium (10) storing identification data associated with the object. At least one RFID transmitting and receiving circuit (13) is provided in, on or outside the automatic cleaning and disinfecting device. When an object is set in the cleaning chamber of the automatic cleaning and disinfecting device, the circuit communicates with the data storage media (10) provided on the object. Based on the identification data of the object acquired through the data communication with the data storage media (10), an appropriate program is selected from a plurality of cleaning and disinfecting programs, and the selected program is executed to clean and disinfects the object.</p> |
