<p>A noise measuring unit (24) measures noise power based on an output from a digitizer (16) when an output from an object under test (10) is input to the digitizer (16) via a limit amplifier (12) and on the amplifying factor of the limit amplifier (12). Since an output from the object under test (10) routed through the limit amplifier (12) will allow a noise component to be sufficiently amplified and a carrier component to be saturated, the noise measuring unit (24) can easily measure noise power. Since the output frequency of the object under test (10) that is not multiplied eliminates the use of a down-converter and a spectrum analyzer, a C/N ratio can be measured at a high speed or with a simple configuration.</p> |
