1. A gel form of a live vaccine for administration of live organisms to poultry hatchlings, the gel form comprising approximately 1 to 2.5 percent of a temperature setting gelling agent having suspended therein sufficient levels of live organisms to provide for immunization of a poultry hatchling flock. 2. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein said gel form is prepared in the form of separate portions, the weight of which is sufficient for administering immunized dose of live organisms to a poultry flock. 3. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein the gelling agent is present in concentration enabling to mix live organisms and the gelling agent to prepare a substantially homogenous suspension of live organisms prior to cooling the gelling agent to produce a gelled live vaccine stable in form. 4. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein the live organisms are present in concentration which provides an optimum immunization level of live organisms in the gelled live vaccine allowing the poultry hatching flock to feed from the gelled vaccine suspension. 5. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein the live organisms are oocysts of Eimeria sp. 6. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 5 wherein the oocysts are selected from one or more of Eimeria tenella, Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria acervulina, Eimeria maxima, Eimeria brunetti, Eimeria praecox and Eimeria mitis. 7. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 5 wherein the vaccine contains between about 200 and 300 oocysts per ml. 8. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein the gelling agent is an alginate or a kappa carrageenan. 9. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 1 wherein the gelling agent is a kappa carrageenan. 10. The gel form of a live vaccine according to claim 9 wherein the vaccine contains from about 1.0 percent to about 2.0 percent of an gelling agent. 11. A method for immunizing a poultry flock, the method comprising: i) preparing a suspension of the viable organisms; ii) dissolving an edible polysaccharide temperature dependent gelling agent in an aqueous solution, said gelling agent is added in a concentration sufficient to produce a gelled live vaccine stable in form; iii) mixing the live organism suspension and the gelling agent solution; iv) allowing the mixture to cool and gel being stable in form to produce live immunogen organisms substantially homogeniuosly suspended in gel stable in form; and v) feeding the poultry hatching flock a gel form. 12. The method according to claim 11 wherein the poultry hatching flock is immunized in an incubator. 13. The method according to claim 11 wherein the poultry hatching flock is subjected to substantially homogenous feeding by live immunogen organisms, since the live organisms are substantially suspended homogenously in the gel form. |
