PURPOSE: A word studying appliance is provided to induce pleasure and curiosity about a word forming game, thus to maximize the effect of word studying by awarding points whenever a child forms a correct word. CONSTITUTION: The word studying appliance is comprised of plural blocks(10) of a desired shape on which different symbols and letters are printed; a play plate(2) printed with plural sections(4) arranged uniformly in a horizontal direction and a vertical direction, onto which each block is disposed respectively; plural waiting boxes(20) installed to the corner of the play plate for storing a constant amount of blocks; and a storage bag(30) for storing the blocks and/or the waiting boxes.
