PURPOSE: A coupling for jointing pipes is provided to produce the coupling in mass-production by fabricating the coupling through a press molding process such that a strength of the coupling can be maintained against hydraulic pressure. CONSTITUTION: A coupling for jointing pipes is fabricated through a press molding process. A cylindrical socket is divided into upper and lower couplings(10,10a). Circumferential inserting portions(11,11a) are formed so as to receive a cylindrical packing(3) therein. Pipes(1,1a) inserted into the upper and lower couplings(10,10a) are supported by supporting members(13,13a). Front portions of the circumferential inserting portions(11,11a) are formed with two-stepped protrusions(14,14a), so that the front portions of the circumferential inserting portions(11,11a) are coupled with slots(2,2a) formed at outer portions of the pipes(1,1a).
