摘要 The present invention provides an engine generator which is small in the size but high in the efficiency of power generation and a controller for the engine generator. The present invention is implemented by a power generator G driven by an engine E, a starter motor M for cranking the engine E, and a controller 4 for supplying various electric loads including the starter motor M with a driving voltage which depends on the power released from the generator G and a battery 5. The controller 4 includes an igniter 43 for feeding the ignition coil 5 in the engine with igniting energy. The controller 4 allows the source line of the igniter 43 to be supplied with a driving voltage received from a power supply line of the generator and a power supply line of the battery which are connected in parallel with each other so that the driving voltage for the igniter 43 stays not declined when the starter motor M is driven. The present invention provides another engine generator which is high in the efficiency of power generation. The another engine generator comprises an alternating current generator G driven by an engine, a rectifier circuit 3 for rectifying a main output released from the output terminal of the alternating current generator G, and an inverter circuit 4 for converting an output of the rectifier circuit 3 into an AC voltage. The output terminal of the alternating current generator G is connected to a primary side of a transformer 7. A part of the main output of the alternating current generator G is drawn out from sub-coils 72a, 72b, and 72c of the secondary side of the transformer 7 and used as a power supply for energizing inverters 4A and 4B or charging a battery. The present invention provides an engine starter apparatus which can start an engine with generating no undesired event of back kicking or reverse re-throwing, hence exerting no excessive load to the starter motor. The engine starter apparatus of the present invention comprises a start switch 10 for starting the engine, an igniting means 4 for combusting the engine at predetermined timing, and a controller 1 for controlling the action of the starter motor M and the igniting means 4 on the basis of the engine speed. The controller 1 includes an engine stop examining means 103 for examining from the engine speed whether the engine is in action or not. When the engine stop examining means 103 judges that the start switch 10 is closed and the engine is not in action, the action of the starter motor M and the igniting means 4 is started. The present invention further provides a remote control system for radio controlling the action of an engine generator from a remote location. The remote control system of the present invention comprises the engine generator EG, a transponder 3 connected to an output line of the engine generator EG, and a remote controller 4 for radio communication with the transponder 3.
