SIMULATED ENGAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD AGAINST TANK

Disclosed is a simulated engagement system and method against tank for simulating an antitank firearm which fires at a moving target like a tank. The method includes the steps of firing a first laser beam at the target to be attacked, detecting the first laser beam reflected from the target, determining whether or not the detected first laser beam is reflected from the intended target, and firing a second laser beam for judging whether or not the target has been hit, if it is judged that the reflected first laser beam is reflected from the target. The firing of the second laser beam should be performed only when the reflected laser beam is reflected from the target. For this judgment, a time code including information about the time required for the laser fired from the antitank firearm on a shelling tank to be reflected and returned from the target is inserted into the first laser beam.
