The invention relates to a horizontal electrochemical cell for electro-optical analysis of electrochemical processes. Said cell consists of two cylindrical bodies made of glass, the smaller (1) being coaxial relative to the larger (2) and located therein and said bodies being horizontal and having a common flat lid (3). The bottom has tubular penetrations (4) for the passage of the working electrodes. The upper generatrix has several tubular penetrations (5) for the passage of reference and auxiliary electrodes, in addition to measuring sensors and a bubbler. The bottom generatrix has a tubular penetration (6) for draining the electrolyte with a flow valve (7). It also has two oblique tubular penetrations (8) reaching up to the space between the two bodies for the inlet and outlet of refrigerating liquid, which is optionally kept at a given temperature.
