A device for retaining and/or fixing of flat objects to a carrier plate. The carrier plate (1) consists of two end sections (2,2') for fixture on the carrier plate, and a central section, which can be mounted on the carrier plate or on a flat object fixed thereon. On the central part (18) of the web are located downward-projecting latching devices (21,21'), which are brought into engagement with a latching opening in the base plate (1).
