MULTI-LAYER PRELIMINARY FORMED BODY AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE FORMED BODY

A multi-layer preliminary formed body for hollow container and a method of manufacturing the formed body having excellent formability and productivity without lowering the characteristics of a container even if a large amount of recycled material is filled therein; the blow formed multi-layer bottomed preliminary formed body for hollow container, wherein shell parts and a bottom part are formed in a three-layer structure, the innermost layer and the outermost layer of the three-layer structure are formed of a first material, an intermediate layer is formed of a second material, and the wall thickness (tc) of the intermediate layer of the bottom part is thinner than the wall thickness (t0) of the intermediate layer of the shell parts (tc < t0); the method of manufacturing the formed body, comprising the steps of, in a same forming process, (i) injecting the first material, (ii) injecting the first and second materials simultaneously, and (iii) injecting the first material continuously in this order to fill the first and second materials in an injection-molded metal mold cavity.
