The up and/or down pipes (20,24,42) forming the guidance system stand at an angle to vertical with the container (12), preferably so that up and down pipes present crossed pipes, possibly several of each type of pipe. One or both pipes have a pattern of recesses lengthways preferably in slit form and are arranged on the underside or top of the pipe. The sectional area of the pipes differs from that of the recesses and can be square, rectangular, oval or circular. The container is connected to a heater (34) feed (36) or return (38), of which the feed (36) connects to an angled up pipe (40) as against the return (38) which joins the down pipe (42). The container (12) has a bottom heat exchanger (14) supplied with the heater fluid. The upper heat exchanger (22) heats the service water and is joined to a down pipe (24) to let the water out into the container (12).
