A luminescent material, characterized in that it comprises a polynuclear complex compound having a pyrazabole structure; a luminescent element using the luminescent material; and a device using the luminescent element. The luminescent light-emitting material is a blue luminescent material excellent in thermal stability and long-term durability, and the luminescent element exhibits high color purity and is free from problems of the decrease of the electric current efficiency and the decline of life characteristics at a high brightness region.
