PURPOSE: An inverter CO2 welder is provided to realize uniformed output conditions by securing sufficient protection for damage of IGBT(insulated gate bipolar transistor), enabling simultaneous controlling of constant voltage/constant current and doubly protecting damage of IGBT of a power control part. CONSTITUTION: The inverter CO2 welder comprises an input current sensor(S1) sensing an input side current of a power control part(120); a DC conversion part(135) converting a current sensed at the input current sensor(S1) into a DC(direct current); a second comparison part(132) receiving signals of the input current sensor(S1) as a direct current through the DC conversion part(135), and first controlling the current by reducing an output waveform if an amount of the current exceeds a standard value; a feedback voltage sensor(S2) sensing an output side voltage of the power control part(120); a first comparison part(131) determining a voltage value by comparing the sensed voltage with a standard voltage value after sensing an output side voltage of the power control part(120) through the feedback voltage sensor(S2), and second controlling the voltage so that the determined voltage value becomes the maximum within output values of the second comparison part(132); a feedback current sensor(S3) sensing an output side current of the power control part(120); and a third comparison part(133) controlling the current so that a pulse control amount is promptly reduced by lowering a critical point of an input first current amount supplied to the second comparison part(132) as an output is reversed when a value of the feedback current sensor(S3) conforms to a standard current value, and an output current is generated regardless of a critical point of the input first current amount as the output is non-reversed when the value of the feedback current sensor(S3) is deficient.
