<p>A holder for a blister pack of pills which is capable of issuing a warning when ingestion is next due. Insertion of the blister pack into the holder completes an electric circuit and activates a timer. At the end of the pre-set time period, based on recommended ingestion times, an alarm is activated. The alarm may be audible, visible or a radio signal to a remote device. Completion of the electric circuit may be by switch or the foil of the blister pack shorting contacts on the holder. An indication that the timer is active can also be provided.</p> |
