ith a view to efficiently exploiting solar energy, the invented system focuses automatically on the sun position in the sky. The system in question, having for only data the date, time, latitude and longitude of its installation area, proceeds to the automatic calculation of the azimuth angle and the elevation of the sun by means of a computer or integral circuit, and a robotic construction composed of two simple or stepper motors controlled by same computer furnished with an adequate algorithmic program. The one motor rotates at the solar azimuth angle and the other at an angle corresponding to the sun elevation. The invented system is practicable for the construction of automatic rotary bases for solar collectors tracking the sun orbit,or for serving as a base for satellite aerials focusing on the position of satellites with known orbit data, azimuth angle and elevation.
