There is provided a natural gas regulator assembled on a body and a lid incorporating an inner safety valve, which actuates when the input pressure is lowered below a threshold point, an automatic resetting taking place when the service pressure is restored and all the installation spouts are closed; which comprises: a) an inner nozzle, that is an integral body with radial openings, a seat for the corresponding obturator and includes a high pressure membrane at the opposite end thereof, employing a plate for mounting the assembly on said body, and defining the input and output pressure chambers by means of toric joints for sealing said assembly; b) a safety valve defined in the axial conjunction of a cap located at the safety obturator; a second cap located between both obturators; wherein said caps include corresponding radial openings having a mounting slack.
