摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce α-L-arabinofuranosidase that converts hemicellulose to fermentable sugars, and can be utilized for various industries such as the conversion into a substance such as fuel alcohol. SOLUTION: The objective α-L-arabinofuranosidase gene was cloned, and a base sequence thereof was determined. The above cloned new gene was inserted into a vector to transform a host (Aspergillus oryzae). Culturing the transformant permitted mass-producing the above enzyme.
