PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system making it possible to print on a memorial tablet with no need of expertness, free of nonuniformity in quality or the like and with high efficiency. SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a character data storage means 12 which stores a lot of data on characters for presenting them with exclusive styles of handwriting, a character specifying means 11 for specifying the characters to be printed on the memorial tablet, a character data calling means 13 which calls the data on the characters specified by the specifying means from the character data storage means 12, a printing means 20 for printing the characters on a transfer film on the basis of the character data called out by the calling means and a transfer means 30 which transfers the characters onto the top plate X1 of the tablet by pressing thereon the transfer film Y having the characters printed.
