PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved sub-unit consisting of a driving car and working devices and installed overhead on a horizontally directed monorail laid upright in such a way as extending in a horizontal direction from a vertically directed monorail. SOLUTION: A master unit 6 for transporting objects upon stacking on a dolly 5 moving upon being coupled with a tractor 3 is installed overhead on a vertically directed monorail 1 laid upright in such a way as extending in the vertical direction relative to a fruit farm built on a steep slope while the sub-unit 8 consisting of the driving car 10 and working devices 13 and 14 is installed overhead on the horizontally directed monorail 7 laid upright in such a way as extending in the horizontal direction from the vertically directed monorail 1, and thereby the intended monorail transporting/ working device is established for performing necessary works, wherein the horizontally directed monorail 7 is arranged in such a way as reciprocating sigmoidally over the specified range alongside the vertically directed monorail 1, and rubber wheels 17 and ones 18 of four-wheel drive type running as pinching the sigmoid rail 7 from above and below are installed on the driving car 10 installed on the sigmoid rail 7 and driven by a chain 21. Friction material (knurl 24) for increasing the rolling contact friction of the driving wheels 17 and 18 is provided on the oversurface and undersurface of the sigmoid rail 7.
