PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip, which has a simple structure and with which a document can be surely pinched. SOLUTION: A first supporting piece 2 and one side end of a second supporting piece 3 opposing to the first supporting piece 2 are connected with each other through a connecting part 4. Between the outer surface of a holding down piece 6, which is formed by being bent into a V-shape from the other end of the first supporting piece 2, and the inner surface of the second supporting piece 3, a document 11 is inserted so as to be pinched. At the same time, on the inner surface of the second supporting piece 3, an engaging pawl 8 engaging with the surface of the document is formed towards the connecting part 4 side from the tip of the holding down piece 6.
