PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably maintain anti-reverse performances by the wedge action of a one-way clutch while preventing enlargement and weighting of a rolling type one-way clutch. SOLUTION: A retainer 2 is installed inside an outer ring 1, a tubular part 2a of the retainer 2 is provided with plural storage holes 2c in the circumferential direction and with plural storage holes 2c' in plural lines in the axial direction, rodlike rolling members 10 having wedge actions and spring members are stored in the plural storage holes 2c and 2c' and a driving shaft B is fitted to the internal circumference of the retainer 2. The internal circumferential face 1a of the outer ring 1 is provided with free rotation areasαof the rodlike rolling members 10 and blocking facesβwhich the rodlike rolling members 10 are brought into contact with and block the rotations in recessed parts. When the rolling members 10 are inserted into the plural storage holes 2c and 2c', the rolling members 10 are placed on the outer peripheries of the rolling members 10, inserted into the recessed parts of the outer ring 1 and urged in the direction of the blocking facesβby the spring members.
