PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of caring and confirming a boiling state in the midway of cooking of vegetables or fish in a pot on a gas cooking table when the boiling is quiet, and also, when reheating miso soup or boiled vegetables or fish, it happens too late to notice on heating so that nuriments are damaged, the taste is changed, the cooked material is scorched or burning, and the fuel and time are wasted. SOLUTION: This temperature alarm for the pot and the kettle is so constructed that a temperature sensing part is provided in the interior of the pot or the kettle for storing water or boiled vegetables or fish, and the out side is incorporated with a mechanism, an electric or electronic circuit and devices operated on electrically or physically receiving force, electricity and infrared rays from the sensing part. In the structure where a knob is fitted to the lid of the pot or kettle by a screw, a temperature sensing part is provided on the temperature sensing body as the screw part, and the other devices are incorporated in the knob.
