PIGMENT COMPLEX AND LAYERED STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a complex of a liquid crystal pigment and/or a liquid crystal film which keeps the ability of color tone-changing by angle and has stability against heat and solvent. SOLUTION: The complex consisting of a liquid crystal pigment and/or a liquid crystal film, and a dispersing medium. The liquid crystal pigment is obtained through crosslinking by using a mixture (liquid crystal mixture) consisting of a crosslinking liquid crystal substance having a chiral phase and having polymerizable groups whose at least 90% is contained in molecules (crosslinking molecules) having at least two polymerizing groups. In a mixture, the polymerizable group exists in an amount of 3.2-15 mmole based on 1 g of the liquid crystal mixture. Further, a complex has a multilayered structure.
