PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an ozone generating tube by which the generation of out gas of body to be worked is suppressed and the out gas is discharged outside the body to be worked, and an apparatus for manufacturing the ozone generating tube. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the ozone generating tube by inserting the body 3 to be worked which is composed of a cylindrical conductive body 31 and a cylindrical dielectric 32 inserted into the conductive body 31, into a heating furnace 11 to heat the body 3 to be worked and pressing the dielectric 32 from the inside surface to join the conductive body 31 to the dielectric 32, the treating temperature has a temperature distribution to be increased monotonously from both end parts B and B' toward the center part A in the length direction of the body 3 to be worked when the body 3 to be worked is heated to raise the temperature, the maximum temperature of the center part A and the temperature of both end parts B and B7 are controlled in a beforehand fixed temperature range and when the temperature of the body 3 to be worked falls down, at first the temperature of the center part A is decreased and the body 3 to be worked is worked in the temperature distribution to decrease the temperature monotonously from both end part B and B' toward the center part A.
