摘要 PURPOSE: An audio signal decoding apparatus is provided to reproduce a signal defect portion due to a high compression rate with a soft sound using a human hearing psychology. CONSTITUTION: A bit stream disjointing part(400) disjoints scale vector information, bit allocation information and audio data information from received bit streams. A defect signal supplement part(410) generates a noise for supplementing a portion where no audio data information exists, when disjointed information is inversely quantized. An inverse quantization part(420) performs an inverse quantization operation according to the disjointed scale vector and bit allocation information, and inversely quantizes the noise from the defect signal supplement part. A mapping part(430) converts frequency-domain signals from the inverse quantization part into time-domain data.
