PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural material and an agricultural member each highly resistant to corrosion under high-temperature and highly humid conditions and/or underground corrosive conditions. SOLUTION: The agricultural material and agricultural member are each such as to be plated with a fused zinc-based alloy comprising 1-4 wt.% of Mg, 4-22 wt.% of Al and the balance of Zn and inevitable impurities; wherein, furthermore, the alloy may contain 0.002-0.1 wt.% of Ti and 0.0005-0.045 wt.% of B, and, as necessary 0.005-2.0 wt.% of at least one kind of readily oxidizable element selected from rare earth elements, Y, Zr and Si. Suitable applications of the material and member include steel pipes, rolled steel, supports, beams and members for transport each for plastic greenhouses or agricultural greenhouses.
